God You're amazing!

Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my life! I'd been praying so hard for the past few days just for yesterday and God has not only answered my prayers, He did even more! He made me one of the happiest women on earth! 

Let me bring you through!

I woke up at 10am with a bad headache - what was worse was, I had tuition at 12pm! So I hurried out of bed to take a shower, and changed into my uniform immediately. (Too kiasu! My tuition was  supposed to end at 1.30pm which meant I had 30mins to change and reach school! So obviously I wear first right?!) 

Then, ate lunch and waited for my tuition teacher to arrive. I was preparing to bring my books out and revise just a little before he came when I suddenly received an sms: -

"Abigail, you'll be collecting your results today so I think I'll postpone to monday 2pm, ok?"

Apart of me shrieked with joy and apart of me went like...   

 - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I was elated that I did not have to sit through tuition and not be able to concentrate but on the other hand, I was already prepared for it. So I was caught in the middle. But I was happy anyway!

So sissy accompanied me to school and sat (not very patiently) there till I came down from the AVA seminar room. So while in the seminar room, the scenario went like this...

We met our new principal, Mr Lim (or was it Lee? Oh crap!) and then the teachers talked a whole load of bullshit which made me feel even worse 'cause I was too excited for the results! So then came the time for the issuing of result slips! - screams!

And I was the first! As usual, since I'm always register #1! So I stood up... Went over to the table right in front of me, greeted both my form and co. form teachers and reached out to take my result slip which were in the hands of my co. form! And I was really shivering so badly! It didn't help that the room was air-conditioned, gaaaah!

Once it was in my hands, I scanned through for the part which I thought would go something like, 'Number of points attained for Best 3: ___', but no! You had to count yourself, and that made my heart race even faster.

So what I saw was...

Initially, I saw one, three and three. So I thought, wow! God has really fulfilled my wish for a 7! 

But then I looked again, and saw another ONE! Which meant I had gotten a 5 instead! 

AND I WAS ENTHRALLED. I stood there for like 10secs just to soak everything in!

Okay so yes, then I went grinning from ear to ear and blah blah blah.

Everyone says we look very alike, some even mistake me for her. Wow

So after lunch that day, we headed to Jones, for coffee!

My cool and hip grandma! Does your grandma speak english to you, sing your type of songs, wear the cool-est clothes or wade around the room like a duck with your little cousin? Mine does. 

Then within the week, we went there again, 'cause apparently D seemed to like the place.
